Abstract

Datadog has lot of integrations for many languages or many frameworks. You can install a datadog agent on your machine and have those integrations installed as well on your machine and then it will send you the metrics through the datadog agent in no time.

You need to install the datadog agent following what they say on the website.

just note that when you install the agent you need to pass in DD_API_KEY environment variable to the script. This way the agent would know which account to send metrics to.
